Emily Duggins (a.k.a. Teacher Emily) Director/Teacher
Emily Duggins first came to Tiny Tots as a participating mom with two young daughters. Leveraging her love of children and an extensive background in childhood education, Emily became deeply involved in the development and operations of the Tiny Tots program. In February of 2000, she began working for Tiny Tots as a substitute teacher.In recognition of her experience, qualifications, and ongoing contributions to the school, Mrs. Duggins was appointed as the Director of Tiny Tots program in March of 2002.
Teacher Emily started her career in 1991. She holds an AA degree along with other certifications in Early Childhood Education. She also holds permits for the State of California, and is first aid & CPR certified. Before becoming the Director of the Tiny Tots program, Emily owned and operated a small in-home family daycare. Teacher Emily's background also includes working with autistic and severely emotionally disturbed (SED) children at the Aldar Academy in Sacramento.
Teacher Emily is an active member of the CCPPNS.
